decision about where to study after your GCSEs is probably
the most important one you will have made in your life so

because you will feel the effects of it for the rest of your

Tomlinscote College has a long and proud record of providing
students, with the opportunity to excel in their chosen subjects
both for university entrance and the world of work. In addition
students have the most fantastic social life, indeed friendships
formed at Tomlinscote last many of our graduates throughout
their lives.
Tomlinscote is also a designated Language College, which helps
to prepare students for many of the new courses appearing
at universities that combine Science, Technology and Business
Studies with a language. Students also have the opportunity
to take part in our exchange programme with countries like
France, Spain, Germany and Japan.

subject Knowledge and experience of our tutors ensures that
all of our students reach their full potential in a supportive
and friendly environment. We won’t carry you through
your studies but we won’t leave you to struggle on
your own either. Our Sixth Form Tutors are dedicated to
help you develop study skills and plan the use of your time
effectively, and because we strictly limit the number of
students each tutor looks after, we are sure that no other
local college will be able to give you more time or personal
attention.
